SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!
Hello my Fantastical Friends and Furry Beasts,
My husband and I will be expecting our own, two-legged baby this July/Aug, which was a huge Christmas surprise! For obvious reasons, I will have to limit my services gradually leading up to this life changing event, then I will be taking a couple months maternity leave (Aug/Sept 2025).
For this reason, if you wish to have any services performed prior to my leave I would encourage getting on the schedule a bit early if possible. I plan on offering telemedicine (phone) consults to my established clients during my leave, and as long as I have seen your pet within the last year then I will be able to script out medications if need be. If you are hoping to schedule a telemedicine consult I have added that option to my “Request an Appointment” form.
Unfortunately, if you are a new client this service is not possible until I have had a physical exam with your pet. If you are still interested in establishing care in the future, please go ahead and fill out a “Request an Appointment” form. We will get back to you with my availability.
I can't guarantee my availability for humane euthanasias during my leave until after my delivery, but please feel free to fill out a request form and we will get back to you with an update on whether we can help as soon as possible. I would recommend seeking alternative options as well just in case I can not accommodate.
I will do my best to keep you all in the loop with my availability through this time. I appreciate your understanding and hope to continue to provide your fantastic beasts with quality care after I bring my fantastic beast into the world ;)
Warmest regards,
Dr. Sarah
About Me
Fantastic Beasts Veterinary Care has been created by Dr. Sarah Spindell to offer the state of Maine convenient, compassionate and modern care in the comfort of their own homes.

Dr. Spindell graduated Glasgow University before settling in Maine where she has been practicing in her local area. Frequently she noticed how the experience for owners and animals can at times be stressful. This led her to believe that the people and animals of Maine deserved a more comfortable and personal service.
We all lead busy lives and hopefully by hiring Dr. Spindell we can help lighten the load just a little whilst also giving your beloved animals the care they deserve.
